I was twelve years old. I knew that one day it would come. When it did, I was at home watching a Netflix series and I went to the toilet to pee. Finally, I saw a red stain. I didn't feel fear or anxiety though.
I immediately put on my pad and told my mother. She was callous about it but I am happy with this as it was a normal thing for me. We girls are so, so, so, so, strong. I know that... :)
