It was 5th grade music class. We had a substitute teacher who I believed to not have a single clue what to do with a music class. So she had the whole class get in a circle and one by one, we'd go to the center of the circle and do a dance move. It got to my turn and not knowing what to do, I did a couple twirls. The class fell silent. I didn't think much of it. Maybe they were amazed at my spinning coordination and form.
Later at lunch, I had to use the bathroom and it was only then did I discover that I had started my period. No one had told me!
