So in third or fourth grade, all my friends started on the same day. Ever since, I was so jealous and wanted mine. I spent five years making kits and waiting and waiting and waiting. Soon, I got discharge in fifth grade. Then on June 2 2020, I got it. My very first period.
I went to use the toilet and wiped and saw blood and discharge. I thought it was just spotting so I didn't tell my dad. Then when I figured it out, I thought it would be my last day. So I didn't tell him because I didn't want him to think I was lying if it ended right away. So two months after that, I got my second period and played it off as my first. No one ever knew.
