I was 10 years old and I was at a summer camp called "The Hunger Games." It was fun and all but I had an annoying pain in my stomach and honestly I thought I just had to poop. But when I went to the bathroom, blood was in my underwear and I started panicking.
We were doing craft time in 5 minutes, so I wrapped toilet paper where the pad should be. I grabbed my phone from my backpack and ran off. I told my mom what happened and she said "look in your backpack and you will see a purple bag. There are pads in there. Put one on and welcome to womanhood!"
