I was 13 yrs old when I first got my period. I went to the bathroom to pee and looking down at my underwear, I saw blood. I was like “FINALLY”. I was excited because I had been waiting for my periods to come since I was the last one to get them in my school and it also signified entering womanhood.
I didn’t panic at all because I knew the few necessary details about periods, so I just went into the room and got my sister’s pad and moved on with my day. Now I am not that excited about getting my period.
