I started yesterday! I am 15 and I was starting to get worried that it was never going to come... It was a Thursday night and I'd just finished work. I got out of the car and there was a huge gush of something. I thought I’d wet myself. I went to the bathroom and BAM! There it was.

It had ruined my underwear and it stained a bit of my work pants! I yelled out to my mom to tell her because I knew exactly what it was haha. I put on a pad and it was heavy and painful through the night, but the next day it was getting lighter.

I’m just so glad it didn’t happen at work.

I remember it was Monday and I was in school. I went to the bathroom because I felt like I had peed myself, but when I saw my underwear, I saw something brown and thought that I had diarrhea and I pooped myself. So I just waited the whole day to get home and change my underwear.

That same thing repeated for the whole week until I realized it was my period (I have sisters, so I knew what it was, I just didn't know that blood could be brown) and I still didn't tell my mom until two days later. To my surprise she didn't make a big deal out of it (which was exactly what I needed).

I was 13 and with my older brother who was 15. We were alone because mom and dad were working. We were watching a movie at home when I got up to make maggi. He saw the blood on my backside and said that I got my period and that I should get some rest.

He went to the chemist shop and after coming back, he gave me pads. When I came out of the bathroom, there was chocolate maggi and a hot water bag and I was really amazed! From that day, now every month he takes care of me. I love my brother.
