Cheesecake Conundrum

My sis had checked me out from school and we went get strawberry cheesecake bite sno balls. It was good. It was really hot and I felt wet everywhere. When we got home, I went to the bathroom and did my business and wiped myself. That's when I saw blood.

I thought it could be the sno ball but it was not. So to test my theory, I put a pad on. After about 6 hours I took it off and it was covered in blood. I didn’t tell anyone but my sister. She told my parents and they didn't believe me. So I guess that’s how it is... :)

Period Denial

This all started in July of 2017. It was around the 14th and I noticed I had brown discharge in my underwear. At that time I was staying at my uncle's house so I had no idea what to do. I kept seeing it for about a week and then it went away, so I didn’t tell anyone until around August 5th when it started to happen again. I wanted to figure out if it was my period or not, so I just let it be for the whole entire day without saying anything to anyone.

That night, I went back to my grandma's house and she saw the front of my shorts and they were a light blue ripped jean shorts and she said to me, "did you start your period?" And I replied to her, "I don’t know I might have," but I had already known for almost an entire month before saying anything. Well then finally, I went to the store and got pads then everything was over (or so I thought.)

The next three days were the worst days of my entire life. I went to my dad's house the next day and bled all over his white couch and thankfully my step mom was there and she knew what to do. The stain came out and since then nothing really bad has happened

I was 11 years old and had just spent the night at a friend's house. I saw blood in the toilet the next morning and was horrified but I told my friend's mom who chuckled at the irony- we had planned to spend the day at a water park (which ended up not happening). She gave me a pad and did her best to explain how to use it before calling my mom who was ecstatic.

My mom bought me a red rose and took my picture with it to immortalize the day I got my first period. At the time I felt like it was the worst day of my life and I spent it mourning my childhood. Looking back as an adult, it was actually quite a beautiful day.
