Period Problems, but Cramps Ain't One

I had it in grade 8 (after every girl in class! Yo ho!) I was simply minding my own paper and writing down stuff. I barely remember and suddenly I felt wet, wetter and gosh! I thought I sat on water, so I went to check and I saw the big red spot! That was the first time I hated the colour red so much. I took my coat and wrapped it around myself and I took it off to readjust it when 2 of my friends noticed it. I SULKED my whole damn day. I went home and then everything was revealed by my sweet mom.

Next day was sports day, so it went perfectly since I never had cramps or felt any pain! My friend was like, "I'll make an excuse for you," but I played and actually, it was a physical test day. I acted as if it was nothing. I never had or have any cramps, need to take tablets, or any of the stuff. I get 101% extra lazy though. So my message, KEEP UP WITH YOUR DIET.

Middle of the Night Surprise

When I was in year 7 all my friends had had their period and I always kinda left felt out. They'd always talk about it and I'd always feel like I couldn't relate to them because I simply hadn't had my period. So I was really excited one day to see a small spot of blood on my pajamas when i woke up in the Middle of the night to pee.

Honestly I thought that starting my periods would be fun but I soon found out that it was the total opposite. On my second day I woke up to find out that I was drenched in a pool of blood. I started to panic and at 4 in the morning I started washing my bed sheets thinking that my mum would tell me off if she saw the dirty sheets.

Long-Distance Period

I was living in the Middle East at the time with my step father and mother. My grandmother who I was very close to had just passed away. This meant my mother was 3000 miles away in England arranging her funeral. I got myself ready for bed and noticed I'd started bleeding.

I was so emotional all I could think to do was call my mum. After crying on the phone for a bit, she said I had to go tell my dad so he could get pads for me. I was too embarrassed. So my mum called him all the way from England to explain. He didn't make a big deal about it, he just went out and bought pads and chocolates and gave them to me.
